Novalux, Inc., developer of Necsel™ laser technology, will reveal its latest proof-of-concept demos during the 2007 Society for Information Display (SID) conference, May 22-23, in Long Beach, California. The demos illustrate how Necsel technology is leading a new era in lighting and display applications. They include the first laser LCD-TV Back Light Unit (BLU) and laser architectural tube lighting, along with the most recent developments in laser high-definition projection TV (HDTV).

SUNNYVALE, Calif., February 16, 2007 –Novalux, Inc., developer of Necsel™ laser technology, has won a “Best Buzz” award from Insight Media, a leading source of intelligence about the display industry. The award is for “best laser demo” given during the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Insight Media selected Novalux based on the company’s demonstration of a full lineup of prototype projection display products powered by Necsel laser technology.
